Thanks to all the voters - now to work

I would like to thank everyone who voted in the Brentwood North Ward last week, which saw a turnout increase on last year, and to thank residents for placing their trust in me as their new councillor. I shall do my best to speak up for you in the chamber and on ward issues.

I would like to thank the council's election staff for their professionalism and competence, and the Brentwood North Liberal Democrat team who supported me throughout, in particular my agent Pauline Myers, whose dedication, expertise and cups of tea kept us all going. Either myself or my ward colleague, Reg Straw, will be only too pleased to hear from you regarding any issue of concern.
