Candidates & councillors say Vote Lib Dem!

Brentwood Liberal Democrats are happy to announce their full line-up for the 2010 borough council elections and the Pilgrims Hatch by-election on Thursday 6th May.

They are:

  • Brentwood North: Philip Mynott, local artist and town centre campaigner
  • Brentwood South: Trevor Ellis, lighting system maker
  • Brentwood West: Nigel Clarke, hair stylist and small business owner
  • Brizes & Doddinghurst: Alan Davies, retired legal executive & former mayor
  • Herongate, Ingrave & West Horndon: Linda Price, retired legal secretary
  • Hutton Central: June Spencer, retired council housing officer
  • Hutton East: Susan Miller, estate agent & fitness instructor
  • Hutton South: Christine Seymour, retired administrator
  • Ingatestone, Fryerning & Mountnessing: Jackie Anslow, former councillor & retired social worker.
  • Pilgrims Hatch: Cllr Barry Aspinell, retired firefighter and current deputy leader of the Brentwood Liberal Democrats
  • Pilgrims Hatch by-election: Vicky Davies, former councillor & leader of the council, first aid training company owner
  • Shenfield: Malcolm Featherston, engineering supervisor
  • South Weald: Nina Cutbush, recruitment manager
  • Warley: Cyril Young, retired engineer.

Cllr David Kendall, leader of the Liberal Democrats in Brentwood, said:

"I am proud to say that we are fielding an impressive suite of enthusiastic candidates this year who are keen to represent the residents of Brentwood.

"They represent equal numbers of men and women who come from a wide variety of backgrounds, range in age from 30 to 76 and offer Brentwood residents an excellent array of experience, knowledge and expertise.
