Brentwood Lib Dem Group Leader and Pilgrims Hatch Councillor David Kendall said:

"We all had a brilliant day and really enjoyed ourselves.

"Volunteering is really important to us, so that we can do all we can to ensure that the day runs smoothly and assist where we can.

The Brentwood Council event management team have a delivered a really great event for our borough and full thanks must go to them for all the hard work and planning they have put in.

"The event also highlights how important it is to make it easier for people to get involved with volunteering. The spirit is that everyone has something to give".
