Cllr Barry Aspinell - leader of Brentwood Council

Cllr Barry Aspinell, Leader of Brentwood Council says:

"On the week anniversary of the Brentwood Accord taking control of Brentwood Council, I couldn't be prouder of my team!

"Last night many of us had a meeting with senior officers to discuss what we wanted to achieve. The room was brimming with ideas and the sort of entrepreneurial spirit that the Tories have taalked of but never delivered.

"We have also uncovered a number of "skeletons" in the cupboards - difficult decisions that the Tory administration would just not take and things that they clearly wanted to hide. That stops right now. If you want to know anything about the council - just ask.

"Through this blog we will do our best to keep you informed of what we are doing and how we intend to tackle the problems that we find. One thing I am assured of is that we have assembled the best team and put them in the best places to be able to do so."
