Brexitometer ChelmsfordChelmsford residents showed their unhappiness with the Government's Brexit plans, in a poll in the High Street on Saturday. Chelmsford Lib Dems were out and about asking residents for their views. Many signed up to the Lib Dem campaign for the public to have final say on the Brexit deal, not a Westminster stitch-up.

Commented local Lib Dem Leader Cllr. Stephen Robinson, "More and more people across the country think that the Conservative Government is making a mess of the Brexit negotiations. Our poll showed this is reflected here in Chelmsford.

"This applies whether people voted Leave or Remain in 2016. People realise that they were lied to by the Leave campaign and things are not going to be easy, as they claimed. So more and more people are calling for the public to have the final say on the Brexit deal and are signing our petition at www.exitfrombrexit.org.uk"
