Challenging our Conservative MP on...Traveller Legislation

During the General Election campaign we promised we would hold the Conservatives to account. Our first challenge is over the traveller issue in Brentwood with an email direct to Alex Burghart MP from Cllr David Kendall:

Congratulations on your re-election to parliament. I hope you have started to recover from all the campaigning over the last few months.
When we had the recent public meeting at the Town Hall to discuss the traveller incursion in Warley, you said that if you were re-elected you would introduce a members bill at Westminster regarding travellers as soon as possible.Please could you tell me what specific legislation you are proposing to move in Parliament to ensure that we don't have a repeat of the traveller incursion in Warley anywhere else in the Brentwood & Ongar constituency? Please could you also give me some idea of the timescale for this legislation?
