Cllr Vicky Davies has again called for the introduction of a blanket dispersal order in Pilgrims Hatch as a matter of urgency following further problems in the last couple of days.

Wanton destruction of the telephone box in Elizabeth road is latest example of criminal damage in the area.

A group of youths are targeting Pilgrims Hatch creating an atmosphere of fear in some areas and causing the council to spend money to protect and repair damage to fences doors and windows of council property.

A request, from the police, for such action was refused by Tory and Labour councillors last month, to the anger and disappointment of the ward councillors.

Whilst it is only a few individuals causing the problems the effects of their mindless actions is costly and antisocial. Councillors David Kendall, Barry Aspinell and Vicky Davies are to meet with the police to discuss what action is to be taken in liaison with the council to catch the perpetrators and protect the residents and property in Pilgrims Hatch from further trouble.
