Crossrail: Cllr Liz Cohen's amazing speech

Residents across the borough have been talking about Cllr Liz Cohen's speech at full council on 10th July.

Cllr Cohen tabled a motion that asked the Tory administration to come up with a parking strategy for Shenfield rather than keep using this important issue as a headline grabber. The motion was re-written by the Tory Leader, unnecessarily and Cllr Cohen made her feelings clear.

Cllr Barry Aspinell, Leader of the Lib Dems on Brentwood Council, said:

"Liz is a perfect example of a local, community minded person who wants to stand up for her neighbours. She is a representative of Shenfield residents first and foremost."
