Cllr David Kendall campaigning for Brentwood bus services

Cllr David Kendall is urging all bus users across Brentwood to take part in the Essex County Council's consultation on ev

ning and Sunday bus services that runs until March 22nd 2019.

Once again the Conservative controlled County Council are looking to make savings across a wide range of services and subsidised bus services in the evening and on Sundays are just one of the many areas coming under the spotlight. In Brentwood any potential changes would affect the following Sunday services:

  • 37 - Brentwood - Pilgrims Hatch
  • 80a/80c - Brentwood - Shenfield - Hutton
  • 251 - Warley - Wickford
  • 351 - Chelmsford - Brentwood

Cllr Kendall said:

"I am highly concerned that the frequency of some of these services could reduce from one hourly to two hourly and that some services could be cut altogether. Therefore it is vital that users and potential users take part in the consultation."

The consultation can be accessed here. Paper versions will be available to collect from all libraries or you can complete the consultation over the phone by calling 03457 430 430.
