Improvements have begun in the Brentwood station area

Brentwood South Lib Dem County Councillor David Kendall has welcomed the fact that some work has finally started on improving the Brentwood Station srea after councillors working together cross party called for some urgent action.


The pavement on the corner of Myrtle Road and Warley Hill that was badly damaged has now been repaired and the block pavement outside the Pet Shop has also been repaired. Councillors have been told that Work will start shortly on repairing and painting the railings. Other work is going to be programmed over the months ahead.


Cllr Kendall said:

"By councillors working together cross party we have finally got some much needed action and improvements made in the Brentwood Station area. There is still along way to go but I hope these first steps show we are serious about really trying to improve the local environment for our residents".
