Lib Dems say NO to secrecy at County Hall

29 Apr 2013

A Lib Dem county council would make dramatic changes to the way Essex County Council is run and put a stop to the secrecy that has allowed Tory councillors to get away with spending your money on lavish lunches, fine art and Lord Hanningfield's £5,000 House of Lords Bar Bill.

We will:

- webcast council meetings so you can see what is happening on YOUR time

- let YOU ask questions of those spending your money

- make decisions openly, following consultation, and not behind closed doors.
