Lib Dems shame Essex Council into pothole repair

Highlighting a massive pothole in Mores Lane has shamed Tory-controlled Essex County Council into repairing it - just a week after it was reported by Rural County Council candidate Lisa Barrett.
Lisa said:
"I was delighted to see at least one of the many potholes in rural Brentwood repaired but sad that it takes such an effort to get some action - no surprise that it got done so close to the election!
"If elected, I'll be taking this sort of action constantly to ensure residents get the services they pay for."
