Oh dear!

A mistake in the agenda for Brentwood Council's Asset Plan meant that, rather than agree to look into selling individual borough assets, the Conservatives voted to sell WARLEY and HUTTON on Wednesday evening!

Cllr Graeme Clark, Deputy Lib Dem Group Leader and Shenfield Councillor, tried to alert Council Leader Louise McKinlay to this but she pressed ahead with the rest of the agenda. We hope this will be clarified at a future meeting.

We Liberal Democrats, who voted against the plan, hope these two historic villages within our borough won't see a For Sale sign at their border.....however, if there's a fence involved, we should easily be able to get in and out.
