Parish councillor Darryl Sankey to stand in Ingatestone, Fryerning and Mountnessing ward
Darryl Sankey, parish councillor, community stalwart and retired accountant, has been selected to fight the Ingatestone, Fryerning & Mountnessing borough council seat in 2021.
Darryl stood in 2019 and increased his vote by 20% compared with the previous year, coming within just 73 votes of winning.
A resident of Ingatestone for 24 years with his wife and family, Darryl is actively involved in the local community and church.
Cllr David Kendall said:
"Darryl is a popular and familiar face in Ingatestone, Fryerning & Mountnessing and residents would be fortunate to have him representing them. He has worked hard to get in to a winning position and, in my view and clearly in the view of the 752 people that voted for him last time, he would be an excellent representative. It really is time to put political party aside in this ward and elect the best candidate.
