Pilgrims Hatch: Orchard Lane speeding causes pet heartache

Cllr Vicky Davies has called for a speed survey to be undertaken in Orchard lane, Pilgrims Hatch as residents live in fear of a serious accident.
Cllr Davies said:
"This once quiet lane is constantly being used as a rat run to the A128 Ongar Road.
"Distressed residents have asked that measures are introduced to slow the traffic after losing several pets under the wheels of the cars.
"I have asked Essex County Council to investigate what can be done to make the area safer."
