County Cllr Barry Aspinell is working to sort out a problem following the resurfacing of Chelmsford Road.

Following the works, residents are unable to drive into there own drives without their cars hitting the floor and damaging their cars as the road is at a different level now. The problem is from Shenfield School to the mini-roundabout.

Cllr Aspinell said:

"It seems that the council contractor has followed their instructions to the letter, but failed to take account of the issues that it could create. I have raised the matter and we are looking at a resolution for Shenfield residents."
