Shocking news for residents in the High Street/London Road area as Essex Police admit that despite opposition to a massive 70 homes on the old police station site that was voted in by the Conservatves in 2017, it looks like even more could be built.

Sarah Cloke, candidate for Brentwood West in the May elections, said: "We are supportive of sustainable development, but this is too much for the local infrastructure to support.

"With this, as well as the recently approved development at the junction of London Road and Kavanaghs Road, I fear that this area will become substantially over-developed over the next few years.

"The Conservative administration seem to be waving the developments through without due diligence."
