Supporting... the Stop School Cuts Campaign
Parliamentary Candidate David Kendall said: "I have today signed the pledge to STOP SCHOOL CUTS. I understand from campaigners that 83% of schools are to lose funding next year due to this Conservative Government. These are just a few examples of the cut per pupil in some of our schools planned in 2020:
- Brentwood County High School will lose £69 per pupil
- Hogarth Primary School will lose £134 per pupil
- Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School will lose £354 per pupil
- Holly Trees Primary School will lose £89 per pupil
- Becket Keys Church of England Free School will lose £254 per pupil
- Warley Primary School will lose £143 per pupil
- Larchwood Primary School will lose £538 per pupil
- Shenfield High School will lose £632 per pupil
- St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School will lose £136 per pupil
- St Martin's School Brentwood will lose £324 per pupil
- Willowbrook Primary School will lose £396 per pupil
- Mountnessing Church of England Primary School will lose £544 per pupil
- Anglo European School will lose £337 per pupil
- Ingatestone Infant School will lose £457 per pupil
- Blackmore Primary School will lose £166 per pupil
- High Ongar Primary School will lose £387 per pupil
- Ongar Primary School will lose £704 per pupil
- St Andrew's CofE Primary School will lose £191 per pupil
- Chipping Ongar Primary School will lose £276 per pupil
- Kelvedon Hatch Community Primary School will lose £47 per pupil
- Doddinghurst Church of England Junior School will lose £50 per pupil
- Doddinghurst Infant School will lose £217 per pupil

- Reach every parent with facts about school funding
We will leaflet as many school gates as possible to inform parents up and down the country about what's really happening to school funding. The leaflets will encourage people to go on schoolcuts.org.uk to find out how cuts are impacting their school. - Build our election petition to grow the movement against school cuts
By signing up as many people as possible to the petition and to this campaign, we can show the groundswell of support for our schools at this election and turn out tens of thousands of people to vote for education on polling day. - Ask every candidate to pledge to fix the school funding crisis
In this election, every candidate has a choice: to fix the school funding crisis once and for all, or compromise on children's education. Our pledge tool will make it easy for voters to ask their candidates for a simple election promise: to give every school adequate funding so it can deliver a high quality education for every child. - Hold our candidates to account on their pledge if they are elected
No matter the result at this election, we will hold our politicians to their promises for our schools.
In 2017, School Cuts became the headline issue at the election and changed the minds of 750,000 voters.
One month later, a direct result of the campaign, we won back £1.3bn for schools - and we've been gaining ground on school funding ever since.
This time, we need to make it politically impossible for any Government to continue underfunding schools.
At this election we have a chance to do just that.
