Join The Big Debate

Join "The Big Debate", a free event to offer up to 150 members of the public an opportunity to ask questions to Council members.

The event will take place on Monday 19 March 2012 at 8pm in the Town Hall Council Chamber, and is chaired and supported by local newspaper the Brentwood Gazette.

Anyone attending the event will also have the opportunity to submit a question to the panel in advance by 6pm on Tuesday 13 March, and could get to ask it during the debate. The panel answering questions will be Council Leader Louise McKinlay, Leader of the Opposition councillor David Kendall, Labour councillor Mike Le Surf and Independent councillor Roger Keeble.

Councillor David Kendall, Leader of the opposition on Brentwood Borough Council, said "This debate will be of real value to the people of Brentwood ahead of casting their vote on 3rd May and I welcome the opportunity to contribute."

Questions are restricted to matters relating to Brentwood and/or the services provided by the Council.
