Cllr Vicky Davies has called for a review

Pilgrims Hatch's Liberal Democrat councillors are very disappointed by the councils lack of action regarding a structural review of Sheltered housing stock.

Recent concerns about properties in Harewood Road regarding rat infestation has brought demands for urgent attention to be given to the sheltered properties that were constructed in the 1970s and are no longer fit for for purpose in the 21st Century.

Cllr Vicky Davies said:

"I have asked the council to urgently undertake a full review of the properties and consider major refurbishment or redevelopment ,but it seems they are now dragging their feet.

"Even in these days of financial austerity the council still has a duty of care to maintain and improve the housing stock and protect our vulnerable tenants."
