Brentwood & Ongar Liberal Democrats' website was named as Site of the Year 2009 at the Eastern Region Liberal Democrat conference on Saturday.

The local party beat 47 other local parties to take the award. In presenting the award, we were complimented for keeping our residents informed with a steady stream of local and national news stories, locally relevant campaigning and the use of Facebook and Twitter feeds on the home page.

Cllr Karen Chilvers, Chair & Website Manager, said:
