David Worsfold

David Worsfold for Shenfield on Thursday 04 May 2023

David Worsfold for 'Shenfield' on Thursday 04 May 2023 David says Brentwood is in danger of becoming a town of missed opportunities under the Tories. Excessive development is swamping our roads and services and destroying the green spaces vital to the health of the community. We should be developing a green town with sustainable development. Time and time again opportunities have been lost to reinvigorate our high streets and town centres. It shouldn't be necessary to fight to keep libraries and other community facilities open as they should be at the heart of town centre policies. Giving people a voice in the future of Brentwood and Shenfield will be my top priority. They have been ignored for too long.

Conservatives Pothole failure in Brentwood

As you drive around the roads across Brentwood you see pothole after pothole. Many have been left unrepaired for months and others have been poorly patched up only to open up again a few weeks later. These potholes are causing a serious danger to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians and have caused thousands of pounds of damage to vehicles and bikes.

A digital world fit for the next generation

For too long, tech giants have treated children as data to be mined, using addictive algorithms and harmful content to keep them scrolling. While some are calling for blanket bans, we know these are impractical and risk isolating vulnerable groups.
