Brentwood North's Councillors, James Sapwell, Ross Carter and Philip Mynott, would like to encourage local residents to attend Hopefield Animal Sanctuary's Christmas Fete on Sunday 27th November from 12 - 3pm.
Lib Dem County Councillor David Kendall was invited to the grand opening of the refurbished Brentwood Station last week and was joined at the event by a number of other people including the Chairman of the Brentwood Bus & Rail Users Association (BBARUA) Wendy Way.

Lib Dem Councillor and well known Transport campaigner David Kendall has launched a campaign to save the 73 evening bus service which operates between Pilgrims Hatch and Warley via Brentwood High Street. The service, which has a County Council supported contract, is under threat of being axed because of low passenger numbers and a final decision on it's future is due to be made in the New Year. David is urging bus users and residents on the route who are concerned about losing this service to sign the Lib Dems online petition, and e-mail the County Council at local.busteam@essex.gov.uk or telephone 0845 6037631 to let the County Council know their views and how the axing of this service would affect them. David said: "There are very few evening bus services operating in Brentwood at the moment and we need to do all we can to save what we've got.
