Wendy Way, chairman of Brentwood Bus and Rail Users' Association, said: "Those working at the intermediate stops before Liverpool Street will find it helpful and this will go to Whitechapel so it will save people having to change for that stop."
Brentwood MP Eric Pickles has been challenged to speak out following accusations the council's planning chairman bulldozed through an application for his political leader.
Brentwood's Liberal Democrats have challenged local MP, Eric Pickles, Shadow Communities and Local Government Secretary, to state his views regarding the conduct of Planning Chair and former Conservative Mayor, Cllr Frank Kenny, on a planning application made by his "very good friend", Cllr Brandon Lewis. Cllr Lewis is a Director of Woodlands School, the subject of the application, Leader of Brentwood Council and Parliamentary Candidate for Great Yarmouth.
Brentwood residents are, rightly, proud of their town and recent competitions, such as Brentwood's Got Talent, has shown a wide variety of skills that should be celebrated. So, Cllr David Kendall, Leader of the Liberal Democrat group, is calling for Brentwood to have its own town show to highlight what the community can offer.
