Shocking news for residents in the High Street/London Road area as Essex Police admit that despite opposition to a massive 70 homes on the old police station site that was voted in by the Conservatves in 2017, it looks like even more could be built.
A motion to protect all 74 Essex libraries was voted down at today's Extraordinary Full County Council Meeting, the first in 25 years. That means Conservative proposals to close 25 libraries and possibly 19 more remain on the table.
Cllr Alison Fulcher, Brentwood North ward, recently chaired the inaugural meeting for a new local forum whose focus will be the broader environment in Brentwood North ward. Although initiated by the Liberal Democrats this group now has an independent chair and is non partisan.
