The William Hunter Way planning application, the biggest planning matter to hit our town for decades, will now NOT be heard by the full council of 37 members. This is despite an extraordinary council meeting being called for the 11th September and the moving of the Overview & Scrutinty meeting on that night due to its time sensitivity - now an irrelevant point in full council terms.
Today, almost two weeks after the comments hit the headlines, Cllr Roger Hirst backed Cllr Chris Hossack's comments regarding the Night Time Economy in an alarming statement that claims to have the backing of all the 21 Conservative councillors.
