Brentwood High Street - assurances sought

High Street action & assurances demanded

Lib Dem councillors David Kendall and Karen Chilvers have sought reassurances from Brentwood Borough Council and Essex County Council regarding the works going on in the High Street. Their call comes following a series of complaints from residents on the following issues:

"Tory Split" in Brentwood & Ongar

The Brentwood Gazette reported this week that "factions" had formed in the local Conservative party and a split had been caused by the resignation of Chair Dudley Pound, husband of Warley councillor Jan Pound, and Treasurer Frank Lloyd, father of fellow Warley councillor William Lloyd.
