On Wedneday, at an historic annual council meeting the Conservative party lost control of the borough council after ten years to the Brentwood Accord: the former opposition made up of three parties and the independent councillor.
Cllr Vicky Davies, Lib Dem, Pilgrims Hatch, was tonight elected as Mayor of Brentwood for 2014-15 in the presence of her daughters and granddaughter. Madam Mayor is pictured with her husband, Mr Alan Davies, himself a former Mayor of Brentwood.
