Lib Dem County Councillor David Kendall has asked once again for urgent action to be taken to improve the safety for users of the dangerous Devil's Head cross roads in Warley. His latest call follows yet another accident at the junction last week in which signage was so badly damaged that the crossroads sign was literally ripped out of the ground and left on it's side.

Brentwood's Lib Dem Leader Cllr David Kendall has agreed to join a cross party Town Hall Delivery Group to work on trying to achieve what was agreed at the recent meeting to save the Town Hall (5/7/11).
Lib Dem Leader Cllr David Kendall has called for an emergency full council meeting to be held as soon as possible to discuss what action is going to be taken following the recent decision on the town hall. His call for the council to be recalled instead of having it's normal summer break is unprecedented and highlights the serious concerns the Lib Dems have over the way the whole issue is being handled by the Tories running Brentwood Borough Council. Members of the Liberal Democrat group on Brentwood Borough Council were last night celebrating an historic victory after joining forces with other like minded councillors to save Brentwood's Town Hall and retain it as a seat of local government in Brentwood.
Brentwood and Ongar Liberal Democrats have expressed concern regarding the type of phone mast applications received within the Borough and the lack of supporting information submitted by mobile phone companies to give weight to their claims.
The UK must once again stand tall, leading on the world stage and working closely with those who share our interests – including, above all, our partners in Europe.
No child should ever have to experience sexual abuse. These are horrifying crimes that cause so much harm to the children who are victims. We will keep up the pressure so that the action needed to make our communities safe all children finally happens.
